Moundsville Zombie Walk!!!

our First Zombie Walk!!! We loved it!!! We met sooo many nice people, the people of Moundsville are great! Some of the zombie makeup was AMAZING!!

Just about it for summer...

Maryland State Fair 2011!!

Last year we started a new tradition, go to the Maryland state fair as many time as we could while it was in town, the animals are different almost everyday, you never know what your gonna see, so why stay home and miss something great?

New Camera!! Canon Rebel T3!!

Sorry for not being around much, if anyone was watching or reading, Betwwen work, travel and other super summer. Fun, I haven't had much time for Blogging,but here goes!!

I've wanted a new camera, after a long time deciding and weighing the plusses and minuses, I decided to get the new Canon Rebel T3. The main features I wanted the camera to have were fast shooting and great low light performance, (low or no noise) here's some samples, with more to come!!

Elk Neck State Park

Our latest camping adventure took us to northern Maryland. A state park called Elk Neck State park, it's large campground with most of the amenities of a private campground, like full hookups, and a fully stocked camp store. Heres some picks

It's about time!! Heat!!!

I can't believe it's almost the end of May, we've hardly seen a sunny day in 2 months, and today I can wear shorts, and a tank top! Woo woo!!! It's about time to start blogging about beach trips , sunny days and warm nights on the rides at the boardwalk. I can't wait!!

Point Lookout State Park

Well it's that time of year again!! Time for great summer RV travel!! Our last weeks adventure took us to Point Lookout State Park in Southern Maryland. We Have been curious about this park sense it showed up in the video game Fallout 3. It was a very quite park this time of year,almost making it seem like we were walking around in a after a nuclear disaster like in Fallout 3!!!

I got a new camera!!!!

I'm always on the lookout for the newest, latest smallest best quality camera I can find. So just this week Kodak released there new M200 mini camera,I snatched up from amazon, well actually my wife snatched up for me lol.

It's a great little camera with all the bells and whistles other Kodak M series cameras have, like sene selection and smart capture. Also on Kodaks website, they don't say it can take panoramic photos, but it does. So pictures speak louder than words, here's some sample pics

Spring fever!!

All this 50's and 60's weather convinced me to get out the Hayabusa last week, this week I got out the ol' Tmaxx, after a few cracks on the starter, and a little cleaning of the old fuel(I didnt store it properly over the winter) it fired right up! Bashed for a few minutes, I may it to the part later in the week, but I just got a new body and gave it some fresh paint, heres some pics














I've almost sold this truck about 10 times, due to the cost of the upkeep, it breaks.....ALOT! Usually not the fault of the truck, its some operator error, some just because it has too much power, and I drive it like a freestyle show at monster jam, because that s what gets the oooos and ahhhs from the neighborhood tikes lol

Repair/upgrade list :
- wheels and tires, It tore on of the tires smooth off the rim.
- replaced shocks, wanted something easier to adjust
- replaced transmission, broke a steel shaft, a new tranny on eBay was cheaper than the shaft at the hobby shop lol
- I'm on my 3rd spur gear, the motor keeps loosening and stripping the spur gear.
- new body, old one looked really really bad
- new slipper clutch, a pad fell off
- new brakes, both pads fell off, lol
- new front bumper it broke duh
- new clutch in the clutch bell, springs broke inside original, I think the new upgraded ones are broken also lol
- dozens of body clips hehehe

With all that aside, I love this truck. Or I would have sold it, they make steel spur gears I'm just too cheap to buy one right now. A little locktite would also keep the motor screws tight, but then ya wouldn't be able to remove the. If something did go wrong.(prolly could but Allen head hardware does strip)

Finally got my 3D for my tv

I just my my 3d kit for my Mitsubishi 3d dlp tv... I was really not going to fall for the whole 3d thing origianly, but man, I'm glad I did.. Wow, games are breathtaking!!! Movies are amazing. Much,much better than the old and blue Cardboard glasses!!, here's some pics and a link to a video unboxing.







Me,in the 3d glasses, trust me the genuine Mitsubishi glasses look a lot better than the generic ones i've looked at also check out my. Unboxing video!!!!

Ski LIberty, Boulder Ridge

We found some great winter fun everyone can do without a risk of breaking a leg, it's snow tubing!!! A cheap and Fun way to spend a few hours in the snow!! This is at Liberty mountain resorts in PA, it's only about an hour away from Baltimore, they make there own snow, so no need to wait on a good snow fall... Here's a few pics of then hill, and inside and outside of the snow tubing lodge..







Ohh. And no need to worry about walking back up the hill they have a moving carpet that takes you backup!!
